Sustainability

Smarter production. Lower impact.

Sustainability isn’t defined by a single material. It’s shaped by smarter production, responsible sourcing, and creating only what you need. At Anybatch, we believe better packaging starts with better decisions.

Build packaging with greater flexibility.

Start your next project with a production approach designed to reduce unnecessary waste and excess inventory.

Sustainability goes beyond the packaging itself.

Creating more sustainable packaging means looking at the entire production process - not just the final container. Production volumes, transportation, inventory management, and material choices all contribute to the environmental impact of every beverage. By combining flexible production with a streamlined digital workflow, we help businesses make packaging decisions that better match real demand.

Designed for more responsible production.

Every project is different, but these principles guide how we think about sustainability throughout our production process.

Print on demand

Flexible production, short lead times and low MOQs let brands produce what they need. Reducing overproduction, improving inventory management and reducing packaging waste versus traditional offset runs.

Produce closer to market

Producing closer to Northern European customers can shorten transportation distances and improve logistics efficiency.

Print directly on the can

Direct-to-can printing removes the need for adhesive labels, keeping the can a single, mono-material product. This improves recyclability and reduces the risk of contamination in the recycling stream.

Eliminate setup waste

Digital printing reduces production waste by eliminating printing plates and associated processes, such as colour mixture proofing, cleaning, and commissioning of the printing unit.

Why beverage brands continue choosing aluminium.

Aluminium has become one of the most widely used packaging materials for beverages because it combines durability, product protection, and the ability to be recycled repeatedly without losing its core properties. When collected and recycled, aluminium can return to the production cycle again and again, making it an important material within a circular economy.

Lighter, more efficient to transport

A standard aluminium can weighs just 15 grams — 20 to 30 times lighter than a glass bottle. That means more beverage per truckload and a lower carbon footprint at every stage of transport.

Infinitely recyclable

Aluminium cans can be recycled indefinitely without losing quality. Recycling uses up to 95% less energy than producing new aluminium, with recycling rates of around 90% across the Nordics.

Built on recycled material

Aluminium cans already contain 73% recycled content on average, far ahead of glass (23%) and PET (6%). They're also recovered more efficiently once collected, with a 90% sorting and reprocessing rate compared to 67% for glass and 66% for PET.

Excellent product protection

Aluminium protects beverages from light and oxygen while maintaining product quality. Its ability to be recycled repeatedly also supports long-term material reuse and a more circular packaging system

Continuous improvement over perfect claims.

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We continue exploring new ways to improve our products, production processes, and digital platform to help beverage brands make more responsible packaging decisions over time.
